Our independent lighting report by a specialist (not the one appointed by Tormead school in order to achieve planning) shows that the new pitch mast lighting at 13.5 meters high will light at a Lux rate of 5. The maximum Lux rate for E2 land should be Lux 1, this is 5 times greater. The impact of the new lighting masts will ruin our dark skies. It is on a hill top. You will probably be able to see this sports emporium from London 30 miles away, as we can see the bright lights of buildings in the city 30 miles north from the hill up here. It could well be as bright as the lights for Guildford Cathedral, however The Cathedral is located in a built up area of Guildford. The Urnfield is rural ANOB.
